Citrus Baked Salmon

Try this recipe for a delicious, healthy lean protein in your diet. It’s high in Omega-3 fatty acids and has tremendous health benefits.

Easy Citrus Baked Salmon

Servings – 2

Calories per serving – 307

Fat per serving- 26 grams

Protein per serving – 18 grams

Carbs per serving – 1.5 grams

Ingredients

6 tbsp light olive oil

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp chopped parsley

(2) 6 oz salmon fillets

 

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

Mix light olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley in a glass bowl for the marinade.

Place salmon fillets in a glass dish and cover with the marinade. Refrigerate for one hour.

Remove the fillets and place in aluminum foil.

Cover fillets with marinade and seal the foil.

Place foil wrapped fillets in a glass dish and bake for 35 to 45 minutes.

Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
